Recently, a high school classmate of mine posted on Facebook that she was diagnosed with Leukemia. Within 24 hours, her life changed drastically, and as a result, she had to completely change her lifestyle in order to accommodate her illness. The most amazing thing that I’ve been able to witness about my former classmate is how her positivity and bravery radiates with every Facebook post and conversation she has with the people she comes across. Although this journey hasn’t been a cakewalk, it motivates me and inspires me in various ways.

I am happy that Alex was able to share her journey with us. Please click the “play” button and enjoy this conversation as I was able to!
