If anyone would have told me that I would interview Hip-Hop legend MC Lyte one day, I would have said they were crazy! She is the epitome of empowerment. She became the first female rapper to release an album. I was honored to be in this queen’s presence while she talked about the Black Lives Matter Movement and her views on Hip-Hop today. I salute this Queen of Hip-Hop!
