While everyone has taken to the internet and social media outlets to express their dislike for the distasteful ad of a young black boy modeling a green “Coolest Monkey in the Jungle” hoodie, Diddy is allegedly stepping up in a major way!
According to Hip Hop Overload, Diddy has extended an offer of a lifetime. Reports say that he has offered the young model a $1 million contract to work with Sean John. While we don’t know if he has accepted the offer, it’s sure nice to see such a negative being turned into a positive.
The popular brand received so much heat for posting the ad, they have deleted it from their website, however, it may just be a little too late. According to Hip Hop Overload, The Weeknd even posted on Twitter he would not be working with H&M any longer.
While the situation has angered many across the globe, here’s one thing we can say when it comes to the power of social media– teamwork makes the dreamwork!
Thank you Diddy for using your influence to empower and uplift in difficult situations, even if it is just a social media post! We truly hope these reports are accurate.
