HOUSTON (Press Release) — Houston-based soul food restaurant The Greasy Spoon will be featured on Food Network for an upcoming episode of Food Paradise which is set to air on Wednesday, December 29 at 9 p.m./10 p.m. EST. In the episode, the owner, Max Bozeman II, will take Food Paradise on a tour of the restaurant and into the kitchen as he makes some of his customer favorites.
The entrees featured in the episode include:
– Soulfood Stuffed Turkey Leg
– “The Boss” Seafood Stack (fried catfish, lobster, shrimp, and dirty rice all smothered in Cajun seafood sauce) and
– World Famous Oxtails and Southern-Style Greens

Owner Max Bozeman II has been in the restaurant and hospitality industry for over a decade. The initial seed was sown as a preteen as he worked in his family’s restaurant on the weekends. He grew to become infatuated with business and the idea of adding value to people.
